Specialization / Background
I have edited dozens of academic texts for both the University of Antwerp and the University of Groningen, and after moving to the USA, I have started translating several web texts from Dutch into English and English into Dutch. I am well set-up, and because of my history as a teacher I am experienced in working under pressure but at the same time maintaining accuracy. Areas of specialization range from cultural texts to manuals, biographical texts to immigration-related issues. Any text will be translated with accuracy and speed: I will work fast and cheap.
I have a Master's degree in Dutch Language, Culture and Literature plus a post-master's in Education. I have worked for the University of Antwerp and I have taught Dutch as a second language to highly educated adults at the University of Groningen.
